Gift Information

As a Gift Alternative, we'd like to encourage donations to the "Paulie Diapers" fund at VCA West Seattle Veterinary Hospital. For those of you who didn't know Paulie, he was our "special needs" dog who passed in early February. He spent a substantial amount of time at the vet and was known and loved by all who cared for him there. To donate you can make checks payable to "VCA West Seattle Veterinary Hospital" and send them to our home address:

Parking

Parking will be available at the WaMu Center/Seattle Art Museum parking garage located on Union St between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave. From there it's just a half block walk up 1st Ave to the Showbox. Also, street parking is free on Sundays.

Hotel Information

In case any of you are interested in staying downtown after Tina & Todd's wedding/reception festivities (it's going to be a party!), we have blocked some rooms under the Farmer/Ferkingstad wedding party at a rate of $159/night at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. These rates are available on a "first come-first serve" basis. After that, the Hyatt will try to accomodate but there is no guarantee.

Below is a link for making reservations online. The price is guaranteed until 8/4/09. After that rates are subject to increase. Reservations require a credit card but the card will not be charged until checkout.

The wedding venue is Showbox at the Market in downtown Seattle. The ceremony will be at 6 PM followed directly by the reception at 7 PM.

From I-5 Southbound

Take the I-5 Union Street exit and follow Union west to 1st Ave. Take a right on 1st, and look for the Showbox marquee on the right side of the street.

From I-5 Northbound

Take I-5 to the Seneca street (#165 from the left side of the freeway), and follow Seneca west to 1st Ave. Take a right on 1st, and look for the Showbox marquee on the right side of the street.
